I was Acting Editor of Ophthalmology Times Europe between November 2015 and May 2016. During this time I managed contributions from Doctors and Professors, organised the peer review process and managed a small team remotely in Chennai and Cheshire. I also wrote my own pieces for the publication.
From April 2011 – December 2012 I volunteered as Editor of theRecord, a monthly magazine for people with convictions by Guardian charity of the year, Unlock. Take a look at the women’s special edition co-edited with Farah Damji. (You might even recognise the artwork on the cover by YBA Sarah Lucas!)
In 2010, I was at the helm of Finance Monthly magazine, working as Editor and overseeing the production of the magazine. I put out several issues and each included a travel section at the back of the magazine.
In July 2008 I took a week off work to host journalism workshops in Cardiff, for people with disabilities. Together we produced this fashion fanzine which was distributed around a local cheese festival to help break down barriers in society.
